Article 75 GDPR. Secretariat

1. Il-Bord għandu jkollu segretarjat, li jiġi pprovdut mill-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data.

1. The Board shall have a secretariat, which shall be provided by the European Data Protection Supervisor.

2. Is-segretarjat għandu jwettaq il-kompiti tiegħu esklużivament taħt l-istruzzjonijiet tal-President tal-Bord.

2. The secretariat shall perform its tasks exclusively under the instructions of the Chair of the Board.

3. Il-persunal tal-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data involut fit-twettiq tal-kompiti kkonferiti lill-Bord b’dan ir-Regolament għandu jkun soġġett għal linji ta’ rappurtar separati mill-persunal involut fit-twettiq tal-kompiti kkonferiti fuq il-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data.

3. The staff of the European Data Protection Supervisor involved in carrying out the tasks conferred on the Board by this Regulation shall be subject to separate reporting lines from the staff involved in carrying out tasks conferred on the European Data Protection Supervisor.

4. Fejn xieraq, il-Bord u l-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data għandhom jistabbilixxu u jippubblikaw Memorandum ta’ Qbil li jimplimenta dan l-Artikolu, jiddetermina t-termini tal-kooperazzjoni tagħhom, u applikabbli għall-persunal tal-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data involut fit-twettiq tal-kompiti kkonferiti lill-Bord b’dan ir-Regolament.

4. Where appropriate, the Board and the European Data Protection Supervisor shall establish and publish a Memorandum of Understanding implementing this Article, determining the terms of their cooperation, and applicable to the staff of the European Data Protection Supervisor involved in carrying out the tasks conferred on the Board by this Regulation.

5. Is-segretarjat għandu jipprovdi appoġġ analitiku, amministrattiv u loġistiku lill-Bord.

5. The secretariat shall provide analytical, administrative and logistical support to the Board.

6. Is-segretarjat għandu jkun responsabbli b’mod partikolari:

(a) għax-xogħol ta’ kuljum tal-Bord;

(a) the day-to-day business of the Board;

(b) għall-komunikazzjoni bejn il-membri tal-Bord, il-President tiegħu u l-Kummissjoni;

(b) communication between the members of the Board, its Chair and the Commission;

(c) għall-komunikazzjoni ma’ istituzzjonijiet oħra u mal-pubbliku;

(c) communication with other institutions and the public;

(d) għall-użu ta’ mezzi elettroniċi għall-komunikazzjoni interna u esterna;

(d) the use of electronic means for the internal and external communication;

(e) għat-traduzzjoni ta’ informazzjoni rilevanti;

(e) the translation of relevant information;

(f) għat-tħejjija u s-segwitu tal-laqgħat tal-Bord;

(f) the preparation and follow-up of the meetings of the Board;

(g) għat-tħejjija, l-abbozzar u l-pubblikazzjoni ta’ opinjonijiet u deċiżjonijiet dwar is-soluzzjoni ta’ tilwim bejn awtoritajiet superviżorji u testi oħra adottati mill-Bord.

(g) the preparation, drafting and publication of opinions, decisions on the settlement of disputes between supervisory authorities and other texts adopted by the Board.

Il-persunal tal-Kontrollur Ewropew għall-Protezzjoni tad-Data involut fit-twettiq tal-kompiti mogħtija lill-Bord b'dan ir-Regolament għandu jwettaq il-kompiti tiegħu esklużivament taħt l-istruzzjonijiet ta', u jirrapporta lill-President tal-Bord.

(140) The Board should be assisted by a secretariat provided by the European Data Protection Supervisor. The staff of the European Data Protection Supervisor involved in carrying out the tasks conferred on the Board by this Regulation should perform its tasks exclusively under the instructions of, and report to, the Chair of the Board.
