(28) De toepassing van pseudonimisering op persoonsgegevens kan de risico’s voor de betrokkenen verminderen en de verwerkingsverantwoordelijken en de verwerkers helpen om hun verplichtingen inzake gegevensbescherming na te komen.
De uitdrukkelijke invoering van „pseudonimisering” in deze verordening is niet bedoeld om andere gegevensbeschermingsmaatregelen uit te sluiten.
(28) The application of pseudonymisation to personal data can reduce the risks to the data subjects concerned and help controllers and processors to meet their data-protection obligations.
The explicit introduction of ‘pseudonymisation’ in this Regulation is not intended to preclude any other measures of data protection.
