3) Europaparlaments- og rådsdirektiv 95/46/EF har som formål å harmonisere vernet av fysiske personers grunnleggende rettigheter og friheter i forbindelse med behandlingsaktiviteter samt å sikre fri flyt av personopplysninger mellom medlemsstatene.
